Nous sommes une petite paroisse bilingue à Sillery (ville de Québec) qui fait partie du diocèse de Québec de l’Église Anglicane du Canada et de la communion mondiale de l’Église anglicane.
La messe commence à 10h chaque dimanche. Pour la suivre, nous employons un livret avec ce qui est lu sur le côté gauche de la page et la traduction sur le côté droit en italiques. La messe suit le Book of Alternative Services of the Anglican Church of Canada. Pour les cantiques, nous utilisons le Common Praise Hymnal. Les jeunes ont l’option d’aller à l’école du dimanche après le premier chant et de revenir pour l’Eucharistie.
Le quatrième dimanche de chaque mois est un bible et brunch. Une discussion sur un thème biblique a cours devant un repas léger.
Lorsqu’un mois a cinq dimanches, l’homélie est remplacée par des cantiques suggérés par les paroissiens lors du cinquième dimanche.

We are a small bilingual parish in Sillery (Quebec City) part of the Diocese of Québec in the Anglican Church of Canada and the Worldwide Anglican Communion.
Service starts at 10 o’clock every Sunday. Our bilingual worship booklet enables everyone to follow along in both languages. Service follows The Book of Alternative Services of the Anglican Church of Canada and the hymns are found in The Common Praise Hymnal. Children and youth enjoy Sunday School during the service, returning to take Eucharist with the rest of the congregation.
The fourth Sunday of each month is a Bible and Brunch, where the community discusses on an biblical theme in front of a light meal.
If there is a fifth Sunday, the sermon is replaced by a special musical service of hymns requested by the parishioners.

Notre église est accueillante et inclusive, et tous y sont les bienvenus. Anglophones et francophones s’y côtoient fraternellement chaque dimanche pour écouter la parole de Dieu. Nos offices religieux se déroulent dans les deux langues, avec un livret bilingue. Nous utilisons le Book of Alternative Services of the Anglican Church of Canada et nos cantiques proviennent du Common Praise Hymnal ainsi que de divers recueils francophones.
En temps normal, c’est-à-dire hors pandémie, nous fraternisons après la célébration religieuse autour d’un bon café et de biscuits, et parfois, d’un brunch. Cela nous permet de mieux nous connaître et d’accueillir les visiteurs comme les nouveaux arrivants, et de favoriser la notion de « vivre ensemble ».
Nous accordons une place importante aux enfants : si leur nombre et leur âge le justifient, nous avons pour eux un programme d’école du dimanche et des activités inter-paroissiales.
Nos services religieux sont des eucharisties ou des liturgies de la parole avec homélie bilingue ou Lectiones divinae auxquelles participe la communauté. Lorsqu’il y a un cinquième dimanche dans le mois, l’homélie est remplacée par un Hymnothon durant lequel nous chantons les cantiques préférés des paroissiens.
En plus de nos célébrations dominicales, nous offrons des liturgies en plein air quand le climat le permet, des ateliers de lecture biblique ou d’activités communautaires, en personne ou en ligne.
Dans notre petite communauté, le bénévolat et le partage de connaissances et d’expérience sont les bienvenus et tous ceux qui le désirent trouvent une façon de s’impliquer.
Notre mission nous invite à tisser des liens avec les communautés québécoise et autochtones, à accueillir les nouveaux arrivants, à participer aux banques alimentaires. Nous sommes très sensibles aux causes environnementales et à la protection de la nature.

We are a small bilingual anglican parish in Sillery (Québec City), belonging to the Anglican Diocese of Québec.
Our church strives to welcome and include everyone. Every Sunday, we come together as English and French-speakers to share fellowship and hear the word of God. Our worship services combine both languages using a bilingual booklet based on the Book of Alternative Services of the Anglican Church of Canada, and hymns from the Common Praise Hymnal and various volumes of French music.
In ordinary times—that is, when a global pandemic doesn’t prevent us!—we gather after worship to enjoy a pot of coffee, plate of cookies, and sometimes a full brunch. We value this time of fellowship to welcome visitors and newcomers and deepen our common life together.
Children are important to us, and we strive to meet the ever-changing needs of our community with Sunday school programs and joint activities with other churches in our region.
Our weekly worship consists of eucharisitc mass or liturgy of the word with bilingual preaching, or interactive Lectiones Divinae. On months with a fifth Sunday, we replace the sermon with a “Hymnothon”, in which members can request their favourite hymns.
As well as regular Sunday worship, we also hold outdoor worship when the weather permits, as well as Bible studies and other community activities, in person and online.
We are a small community where the individual gifts and talents of each person can make a big difference, and those who wish to get involved will readily find a place!
Our mission as a church calls us to strengthen ties between Québecois and Indigenous communities, to welcome new arrivals to Canada, to participate in community food banks, and to advocate for environmental causes and the protection of the natural environment.
